Job summary

Ash Grove Cement, a CRH Company, is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to provide strategic and operational HR support for plant locations in the US and Canada. The role requires on-site presence at the Durkee, OR plant and partners with site leadership across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate will lead talent management, labor relations, recruiting, and performance management while ensuring policy compliance and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of HR records.

Responsibilities

• Partner with plant and operations leaders to deliver strategic HR programs across sites.
• Oversee employee and labor relations, including terminations and performance issues.
• Support union contract negotiations and interpretations with guidance from leadership.
• Coordinate recruiting, onboarding, and new hire integration for plant staff.
• Analyze workforce metrics and advise leadership with action plans.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and policies.
