Job summary

MongoDB is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner for our Technical Services organization to shape talent and organizational strategy. You will partner with senior leaders to anticipate people needs, drive change, translate data into actionable recommendations, and build scalable people solutions across the business.

You will lead critical talent moments including performance, engagement, succession, and compensation cycles while partnering with CoEs to scale impact and maintain rigorous people

Qualifications

• 10+ years of HR experience driving measurable impact in a major business unit.
• 5-7+ years as an HRBP, ideally supporting global technical GTM teams.
• Experience partnering with Senior Leadership (VP level).
• Strong judgment and risk assessment relative to business needs.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with adaptability and flexibility.
• Ability to design and implement cross-disciplinary people solutions.
• Proven influence on decision making and autonomous problem solving.
• Willingness to travel to offices and leadership offsites regularly.

Responsibilities

• Builds relationships with leaders to offer thought leadership on organizational and people-related strategy and execution
• Adopts the culture of the organization and embodies our values and leadership principles
• Develops a commercial understanding of the business to appropriately guide and influence leaders on their talent agenda
• Applies expertise in: organizational design, workforce planning, change management, performance management, career planning, coaching, people data analysis, compensation, complex employee relations, learning and development, and recognition programs
• Uses qualitative and quantitative people and business insights to anticipate risks and opportunities, frame trade-offs, and make clear, actionable recommendations
• Partners and drives results alongside other CoEs in the People Team to implement solutions that support and scale the business
• Leads the people cycles throughout the year: compensation reviews, performance evaluations, engagement survey action planning, talent reviews and calibrations, promotions
• Balance strategic partnership with operational stewardship; ensure core people processes and transactions are executed with rigor and scalable practices
