Job summary

Komatsu Mining Corp. in Chicago/Milwaukee seeks a Senior Manager, HR Transformation & Strategic Programs to lead the HR transformation portfolio by establishing governance, accelerating executive decision-making, and coordinating cross-functional initiatives.

You will partner closely with the CHRO, HR Leadership Team, and initiative sponsors to drive value realization and enterprise-wide transformation. This role requires onsite work four days per week, regular travel between Milwaukee and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business or related field.
• 8+ years in HR transformation, strategy or portfolio leadership.
• 5+ years in HR disciplines and operating models.
• Executive communication skills with governance materials.
• Experience analyzing data and defining KPIs.
• Ability to lead in complex, global environments.
• Formal PM/Change management training preferred.
• HR certification preferred (SHRM-SCP, SPHR, etc.).
• Willingness to onsite 4 days/week in Milwaukee/Chicago and travel ~15%.

Responsibilities

• Design and govern the HR transformation portfolio operating model.
• Evaluate data, identify risks, frame recommendations for executives.
• Lead governance discussions on tradeoffs, dependencies and priorities.
• Resolve barriers and escalate issues with options and implications.
• Partner with sponsors to define success measures and adoption.
• Establish agile portfolio practices and AI-enabled methods.
• Provide portfolio-level project and change management leadership.
• Document decisions, commitments, owners, dates and follow-ups.
• Maintain portfolio plans, schedules, risks and adoption metrics.
