Job summary

NC State University in Raleigh, NC seeks an Assistant Director, Facilities HR Programs to provide strategic direction for HR programs across the Facilities Division. The role leads a team of HR professionals and partners with campus stakeholders to advance talent acquisition, onboarding, training, engagement and recognition.

Reporting to the Director of Facilities Human Resources, this position emphasizes workforce analytics, change management, and continuous improvement to enhance employee

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and two years of progressively responsible professional human resources management experience.
• Knowledge of issues and best practices in human resources program procedures and methods.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, and to understand verbal and written instructions and other communications regarding work assignments and related matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for division-wide HR programs related to recruitment, onboarding, employee development, engagement and recognition.
• Lead design, implementation, assessment, and continuous improvement of HR initiatives that enhance employee experience and support Facilities Division goals.
• Oversee recruitment and talent acquisition strategies with leaders and hiring managers.
• Oversee onboarding programs ensuring welcoming, informative, and consistent experiences for new employees.
• Assess organizational needs and implement training, leadership development, mentoring, and e-learning.
