Job summary

NC State University’s Facilities Human Resources team in Raleigh is seeking an Assistant Director of Facilities HR Programs to provide strategic direction for HR initiatives across the division. You will lead a small team, partner with university HR, and advance talent acquisition, onboarding, training, and engagement programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years of professional human resources management experience.
• Knowledge of HR program procedures, best practices, and employment regulations.
• Ability to communicate clearly and handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for division-wide HR programs related to recruitment, onboarding, employee development, engagement and recognition.
• Lead the design, implementation, assessment, and continuous improvement of HR initiatives that enhance the employee experience.
• Oversee recruitment and talent acquisition strategies, partnering with leaders and hiring managers.
• Oversee onboarding programs to ensure a welcoming, informative, and consistent experience.
• Develop and deliver workforce analytics, training, leadership development, and mentoring programs.
