Job summary

Jones & Roth is seeking a Human Resources & People Development Manager to partner with firm leadership and drive HR, learning and development, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.

The role collaborates with partners, directors, managers, the recruiting team, and staff to attract, develop, engage, and retain talent while strengthening the firm’s culture and employee experience across the organization.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Talent Management, or related field.
• Knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, employee relations, and benefits administration.
• Experience developing and facilitating employee training and development programs.
• Experience partnering with leaders on performance management, employee development, and engagement initiatives.
• Strong communication, coaching, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day HR functions across the employee lifecycle and ensure compliance with employment laws.
• Administer benefits programs and coordinate annual open enrollment and communications.
• Develop and deliver non-technical training focused on leadership, communication, and professional skills.
• Support performance management processes and coaching; develop development plans and improvement plans.
• Assist in recruiting support, onboarding, and campus/intern programs as needed.
• Leverage HRIS and learning systems to track metrics and improve processes.
