Job summary

Jones & Roth is seeking an HR & People Development Manager in Eugene, OR to partner with firm leadership and drive HR, learning, and engagement initiatives. This role leads compliance, benefits, performance management, and recruiting support while strengthening our people-first culture and organizational success.

The ideal candidate will build relationships, coach leaders, and create learning opportunities that grow individuals and teams in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in HR, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Talent Management, or a related field.
• Knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, employee relations, and benefits administration.
• Experience developing and facilitating employee training and development programs.
• Experience partnering with leaders on performance management, employee development, and engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day human resources functions across the employee lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Administer employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, retirement, disability, wellness, and leave programs.
• Develop, coordinate, and facilitate non-technical training programs focused on communication, leadership, critical thinking, coaching, client service, relationship building, time management, and other professional skills.
• Lead performance management processes and support ongoing employee feedback.
• Support recruiting and onboarding for experienced and intern roles.
• Utilize HRIS and learning management systems to track metrics and improve processes.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, accountability, collaboration, and growth.
