Job summary

MARTA is seeking a strategic HR advisor to align HR strategies with the Authority’s goals and act as a liaison between employees and managers. You will collaborate with external HR vendors, support contract renewal, and assist in budgeting for Human Resources.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, five years of HR experience with at least two years in a Generalist role, and proficiency with Oracle Cloud HRIS. SHRM/SCP/PHR credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field required; five years HR experience.
• Two years in an HR Generalist role in a large, complex organization preferred.
• Proficiency with Oracle Cloud or similar enterprise HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative HR guidance and coaching to managers and employees.
• Align business needs with HR expertise to support workforce planning, engagement, and talent management.
• Partner with senior leaders to develop HR strategies across divisions.
• Assist with review/update of HR policies and ensure consistent application.
• Collaborate with HR functions to support client divisions and programs.
• Participate in cross-departmental projects to improve operational efficiency and engagement.
• Supervise, coach, and mentor subordinate groups as needed.
