Efficio, a leading procurement and supply chain consultancy, is seeking a commercially minded HR Business Partner to support our US business. Based in New York or Chicago, this role blends strategic partnering with hands-on delivery across employee relations, performance, employment-law compliance and employee experience.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of progressive HR experience with significant business partnering responsibility.
• Working knowledge of US federal, state and local employment law; ability to identify risk.
• Experience advising managers on performance and sensitive people matters.
• Strong stakeholder-management, coaching and communication skills; able to influence senior leaders.
• Comfort in fast-paced environments balancing strategic priorities with hands-on delivery.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with US leaders, managers and employees as the first contact for people matters.
• Translate business plans and workforce needs into practical people plans.
• Coach managers through team dynamics, feedback, development and sensitive conversations.
• Provide guidance on employment law, policy and HR best practice; escalate to Legal when needed.
• Support performance, conduct, leave and accommodation matters.
• Partner on workforce planning, talent, reward and organisational change initiatives.
• Use data and feedback to identify trends and improve the employee experience.
