Job summary

Koch Capabilities Team is hiring an HR Business Partner to join our Wichita-based group. This role partners with leaders to understand value creation and drives HR initiatives to support that value, collaborating with EHS, Aviation, Communications & Marketing.

You will influence leadership decisions, help with recruiting, retention, and succession planning, and identify capability gaps to advance top performers while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Experience as a supervisor or experience working within Human Resources
• Ability to offer calm, practical guidance to business partners through critical thinking and solutions-oriented approach
• High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information appropriately
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and strong executive presence
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Utilize Principle Based Management concepts in partnership with leaders and supervisors to advise on organizational health, supervisor effectiveness, talent planning, and employee development
• Influence leaders on business decisions by applying Principle Based Management
• Partner with the business and other HR capabilities on strategies for recruiting, retention, succession planning
• Identify capability gaps and strategies to close those, while also identifying strong performing, contribution motivated employees, and advancing them
• Build credibility and trust with employees and leaders to support employee relations needs including coaching, performance management, and separations
• Drive innovation and transformation in HR functions and processes
