Job summary

ADM in Decatur, IL, seeks an experienced Human Resources Manager to serve as a hands-on HR business partner for the Ag Services & Oilseeds (AS&O) organization across North America. You will partner with business and HR leaders to strengthen leadership capability, build talent pipelines, and improve organizational effectiveness and colleague engagement.

Based on site, you will provide local HR support to the North American headquarters, handling employee relations, organizational changes,

Qualifications

• Strong HR and business acumen with the ability to connect people and organizational decisions to business outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to build credibility with leaders, earn trust, challenge thinking, and influence outcomes.
• Operate as both a strategic HR partner and a hands-on HR practitioner.
• Strong coaching and employee relations skills with good judgment and discretion.
• Talent assessment and organizational judgment to identify capability gaps and translate them into actionable solutions.
• Ability to move between long-term strategy and day-to-day execution.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven insights.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an HR business partner for AS&O leaders, providing consultation across talent, leadership effectiveness, org design, and workforce strategy.
• Develop understanding of AS&O business priorities and translate them into actionable people plans.
• Build trusted relationships with leaders, providing coaching and constructive challenge.
• Lead talent review and succession planning processes and develop internal pipelines.
• Support organizational changes and business transformation efforts with people implications.
