Job summary

Gates Corporation in Brandon, South Dakota is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to align people strategies with plant objectives. This role partners with plant leadership to drive workforce planning, engagement, and organizational effectiveness.

You will lead employee and labor relations, support talent acquisition, onboarding, succession planning, and talent development initiatives; drive performance management and change management; ensure HR compliance and leverage workforce metrics

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HR experience in manufacturing or distribution.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Progressive HR experience with strong employee and labor relations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Plant leadership to support business objectives and workforce planning.
• Serve as the primary HR advisor for managers and employees.
• Lead employee relations activities, including investigations, corrective actions, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
• Support talent acquisition, onboarding, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.
• Drive performance management, employee engagement, and retention efforts.
• Partner with COEs on compensation, benefits, talent management, and organizational initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR processes.
• Analyze workforce metrics and make recommendations to improve organizational effectiveness.
• Support change management and organizational design initiatives as business needs evolve.
• Foster a positive employee experience and high-performing culture within the facility.
