Job summary

Gates in Brandon, SD is seeking a seasoned Human Resources Business Partner to serve as a strategic partner to plant leadership, focusing on workforce planning, employee relations, and organizational development in a manufacturing setting.

You will influence talent management, succession planning, and compensation programs, partnering with COEs to align HR initiatives with business objectives while ensuring compliance and fostering a high-performing culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Human Resources.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Strong employee and labor relations experience.
• Experience partnering with operations and plant leadership.
• Knowledge of employment law and HR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Plant leadership to support business objectives and workforce planning.
• Serve as the primary HR advisor for managers and employees.
• Lead employee relations activities, investigations, and policy interpretation.
• Support talent acquisition, onboarding, succession planning, and development initiatives.
• Drive performance, engagement, and retention efforts.
• Collaborate with COEs on compensation, benefits, and organizational initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and HR processes.
• Analyze workforce metrics and improve organizational effectiveness.
