Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA Inc. is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders across multiple manufacturing locations.

You will drive performance through strategic people initiatives, workforce planning, and employee engagement, while coaching leaders and enabling organizational transformation. You will ensure compliance with regulations and partner with union leadership to address concerns, coordinate HR programs, and leverage data-driven insights to shape

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 12 to 15 years of progressive HR experience.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, and organizational development principles.
• Experience supporting multi-site, multi-state manufacturing operations.
• Demonstrated success partnering with union leadership, handling grievances, and achieving effective dispute resolution outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
• Provide coaching and guidance on leadership effectiveness, employee engagement, and talent development.
• Lead and support performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews.
• Utilize HR data and analytics to identify trends, measure outcomes, and support business decision-making.
• Support organizational design, workforce planning, and restructuring initiatives.
• Champion HR programs, policies, and best practices across multiple manufacturing locations.
• Foster positive employee and labor relations while supporting a respectful and inclusive workplace culture.
• Build collaborative relationships with local and international union leadership to address concerns and resolve disputes effectively.
