Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Senior Labor Relations Business Partner to serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders across multiple manufacturing locations. In this high-impact role, you will drive performance through people strategies, workforce planning, and employee engagement initiatives.

You will provide strategic HR consulting, leadership coaching, and advocacy for HR programs, supporting organizational transformation and data-driven decisions across a complex, multi-site organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, labor relations, or related field is required.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• 12–15 years of progressive HR experience.
• Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing operations.
• Proven success partnering with union leadership and handling grievances.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to develop HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Coach leaders on engagement, performance, and talent development.
• Lead performance management and employee relations processes.
• Use HR data to identify trends and drive decisions.
• Support workforce planning and organizational design across sites.
• Collaborate with union leadership to address concerns and resolve disputes.
