Job summary

Halff Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to develop and execute strategic HR initiatives across Tallahassee, Tampa, Orlando, or Jacksonville, Florida, with occasional travel to client sites.

You will partner with senior leaders to drive employee engagement, talent development, and organizational effectiveness, ensuring compliance with employment laws. The role requires 10+ years in HRBP and strong leadership coaching skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field.
• 10+ years as HR Business Partner or similar.
• 5+ years of Employee Relations experience.
• Experience in mid-to-large organization or engineering consulting firm.
• Talent management, succession planning, and leadership development experience.
• Current HR credentials or certification preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills.
• Excellent business acumen and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in high-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with operational leaders to align HR strategy with business goals.
• Assess organizational structure and workforce planning needs to improve effectiveness.
• Provide guidance on employee relations issues and ensure legal compliance.
• Partner with recruitment to attract and retain top talent.
• Design and implement performance management and development processes.
• Lead change management initiatives and communication plans.
• Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and guidelines.
• Analyze HR data and prepare senior leadership reports and insights.
