Job summary

Johnson Brothers Liquor Company is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner for a hybrid role in St. Paul, MN.

You will partner with senior leaders to drive talent strategies, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness across the Commercial and Corporate functions. You will lead performance management, development planning, succession, and HR process improvements while ensuring legal compliance and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years as HRBP or strategic HR leader supporting corporate functions.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, talent/succession planning, and performance management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Strategic partnership with business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals.
• Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance issues, and workplace investigations.
• Support talent acquisition, development, succession planning, and retention initiatives.
• Lead and implement performance management processes, with goal setting and evaluations.
• Partner with senior leadership to design HR strategies enabling organizational transformation and growth.
• Coach leaders to build capability and high-performing teams.
• Drive organizational development initiatives including culture and change management.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws and policies.
• Leverage HR analytics to inform decisions and measure people-related outcomes.
• Design and implement training programs to enhance workforce skills.
