Job summary

Zions Bancorporation is seeking an HR Business Partner to support Enterprise Retail Banking in the Greater Salt Lake City area. You will partner with leaders to deliver HR guidance, lead org development initiatives, coach on performance and employee relations, and ensure compliant, data-driven HR decisions.

The role requires a bachelor’s in HR or related field plus 2+ years of experience; PHR/SPHR/SHRM preferred. In-office, five days a week at Zions Technology Center in Midvale, UT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related field and 2+ years of experience.
• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and HRIS; able to analyze data and present insights.
• Experience with integrated AI products (Gemini preferred).
• Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, FLSA and other employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to deliver HR guidance and programs aligned to business priorities.
• Lead organizational development, design, engagement, succession, and leadership development.
• Coach on performance management and employee relations to optimize outcomes.
• Provide guidance on classification, pay practices, and compensation decisions.
• Analyze HR metrics and deliver insights to leaders; advise on actions.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws; manage leave and accommodations.
