Job summary

University of Missouri-Columbia seeks a collaborative HR Consultant/Staff Recruiter for the MURR Human Resources team. You will lead staff recruitment, advise leaders on HR processes, and coordinate with the Recruitment Center of Expertise to deliver effective hiring experiences.

You will build relationships with managers, stay compliant with policies, and continuously improve recruitment outcomes and efficiency across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in full-cycle recruitment and HR consulting.
• Experience partnering with hiring managers and providing consultative support.
• Proficiency with ATS and recruitment technologies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary recruiter for assigned MURR staff positions and develop recruitment strategies.
• Provide HR consultation on employee relations, workforce planning, compensation, and policy.
• Manage full recruitment lifecycle from intake to onboarding.
• Develop proactive sourcing strategies and build talent pipelines for key roles.
• Recommend improvements to recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
• Maintain compliant recruitment documentation and utilize metrics to improve outcomes.
• Collaborate with hiring managers, HR partners, and stakeholders to support objectives.
