Job summary

Belvedere Trading is seeking a seasoned HR leader to set the people strategy for Technology and Platform groups, guiding hiring, engagement, development, performance, and retention across multi-quarter plans.

You will design organizational structures, own headcount planning and budgets, build career frameworks for technical roles, partner with Talent Acquisition on high-volume hiring, and drive performance reviews, compensation benchmarking, and leadership coaching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, organizational psychology, or related field.
• 5+ years of strategic HR partner experience in big tech, fintech, or high-growth environments.
• Strong business acumen with understanding of trading/investment business dynamics and compensation practices.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and influencing skills.
• Analytical mindset with ability to use HR data for decision making.
• Sponsorship is not available for this position.
• Ability to sit and concentrate for long periods and lift 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set the people strategy for Technology and Platform organizations across hiring, engagement, development, performance, and retention.
• Lead organizational design, assessing team structures, spans of control, reporting lines, and role definitions.
• Own workforce planning, including multi-quarter headcount plans, growth scenarios, budgets, and delivery commitments.
• Build and maintain leveling and career frameworks for technical roles.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition on high-volume and specialized technical hiring.
• Scale onboarding and ramp-up for technical hires from offer through integration.
• Hold managers accountable for 30-, 60-, and 90-day talent milestones.
• Identify emerging leaders and coach first-time managers.
• Define learning priorities and co-design role-based development paths and technical onboarding tracks.
• Guide performance management, goal setting, calibration, reviews, feedback cycles, and development planning.
• Advise leadership on compensation and rewards, including market benchmarking, equity, bonus structures, and retention actions.
• Address employee concerns, sensitive issues, escalations, and culture-related matters.
• Lead people-side change management for reorganizations, team changes, platform initiatives, and operating-model shifts.
• Use people data and insights to inform decisions on attrition, performance, engagement, span of control, and workforce planning.
• Support Technology and Platform departments at Belvedere Trading, a proprietary trading firm
