Job summary

Belvedere Trading is seeking an experienced Senior HRBP to partner with our Technology and Platform teams in Chicago. You will shape organizational design, workforce planning, and leadership development for our largest and fastest-growing departments.

Responsibilities include building leveling frameworks, partnering with Talent Acquisition on high-volume technical hiring, and driving performance, compensation, and retention strategies to support a scalable, high-growth tech organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, organizational psychology, or related field.
• 5+ years of strategic HR Partner experience in big tech, fintech, or high-growth environments.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of trading/investment business dynamics.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and influencing skills; ability to build trust with senior leadership.
• Strong conflict resolution, coaching, and employee-relations skills.
• Knowledge of employment law, compensation practices, and HR best practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with confidential matters.
• Analytical mindset and ability to use HR data to drive decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Set people strategy with Technology and Platform leaders, aligning hiring and development with roadmaps.
• Lead organizational design for a large technical organization, optimizing spans of control and roles.
• Own workforce planning with multi-quarter headcount plans and budget alignment.
• Build leveling and career frameworks for engineers, infrastructure, and platform staff.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition on high-volume technical hiring and candidate experience.
• Scale onboarding and ramp-up for technical hires, including compliance and access.
• Hold managers accountable for 30-, 60-, and 90-day milestones and ramp plans.
• Grow the people manager bench via coaching first-time managers and leadership development.
• Define learning priorities with Talent Development for role-based paths and onboarding.
• Set performance expectations, calibration, reviews, and development planning.
• Advise leadership on compensation, equity, bonuses, and retention actions.
• Serve as trusted people leader, addressing concerns and maintaining a high-integrity culture.
• Lead change management for reorganizations, platform initiatives, and new operating models.
• Leverage data to spot attrition, engagement, and workforce-planning risks.
