Job summary

Strata Clean Energy in Durham, NC seeks an HR Business Partner to strategically partner with leaders across offices and field operations. You will lead employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and compliance to advance workforce strategies aligned with our mission in clean energy.

The role requires 5+ years as an HR generalist or HRBP, strong knowledge of employment laws, and ability to coach leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR/Business required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years HR generalist/HRBP experience in fast-paced environments.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted strategic partner to leaders on workforce planning and design.
• Lead employee relations investigations and policy enforcement with thorough documentation.
• Coordinate HR programs with the HR Director to align with business goals.
• Oversee HR data reporting, compliance initiatives, and audits.
• Support field-based and office-based teams with training and development.
• Assist with benefits administration and payroll liaison activities.
