Job summary

NRG Energy is seeking a Senior Talent Business Partner to align people strategies with business goals across the organization. You will lead strategic HR initiatives, support management, and drive engagement and retention.

In this role, you will partner with L&D, support recruitment activities, ensure policy compliance, and deliver data-driven HR solutions to senior leadership. Hybrid work arrangement with in-office collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 5+ years of HR business partner experience in a fast-paced organization.
• 5+ years of experience analyzing and resolving employee issues.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and data quality.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Ability to handle confidential information and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Build strategic relationships with leaders and employees to provide HR support.
• Coach managers on policies, performance, and talent development.
• Drive employee engagement, succession planning, and surveys.
• Partner with L&D to align training with business goals.
• Support recruitment with descriptions, compensation analysis, and interviewing.
