Job summary

Boardwalk Pipelines is seeking an HR Business Partner II/Sr HRBP to support the Baton Rouge, LA and Kenner, LA offices. The role partners with operations leaders to implement effective HR practices aligned with business goals and manages complex employee relations and workforce planning.

The ideal candidate has 3–10 years of HR Generalist experience, strong knowledge of labor laws, and excellent coaching and communication skills. Occasional travel across the region is required.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of HR Generalist experience.
• Broad working knowledge across HR disciplines including employee relations, talent management, compliance, and workforce planning.
• Strong understanding of federal/state employment laws and practical application.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic partner to leadership on HR matters across talent, performance, employee relations and workforce planning.
• Partner with Operations to deliver HR support aligned with business objectives.
• Lead investigations and provide recommendations for complex employee relations issues.
• Contribute to projects that drive organizational effectiveness and change management.
• Assist with design and implementation of HR policies, programs and processes.
• Build partnerships with leadership to influence decisions and drive outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and risk management.
• Support onboarding, recruiting, HRIS data management, and reporting.
• Travel across the region as needed.
