Job summary

Flynn Fitness is seeking an HR Business Partner for Modesto, CA. This role provides HR leadership for a geographic market, partnering with market leadership to align HR and operations and serving as an operations liaison with the Flynn Support Center.

You will build partnerships with the Director of Operations, manage staffing, training, employee relations, and compliance across the market, while supporting recruitment and onboarding for new management. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years related HR experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (HRCI or SHRM certification a plus).
• Demonstrates high integrity and HR professionalism and expertise.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Builds relationships with field employees and management to drive HR initiatives across the market.
• Conducts training for managers on HR topics and leadership responsibilities.
• Manages employee relations, inquiries, and documentation across the market.
• Supports recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning activities.
• Guides performance management and disciplinary actions per company standards.
• Ensures labor compliance and training across the market.

Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Professional HRCI or SHRM certification a plus
