Xcel Energy is seeking an HR leader to develop and execute organization- and business area-level HR strategies that align structure, culture and talent with business goals. You will advise senior leadership on HR functions and support leadership teams with workforce planning and succession initiatives.

Ideal candidates will have extensive HR experience, advanced knowledge across HR disciplines, and a track record of strategic partnership and employee development.

Qualifications

• Four years of HR experience, including two years consulting with leaders on human resource strategy.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Significant knowledge of multiple HR disciplines, including organizational effectiveness, talent management, employee relations, performance management, total rewards and employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Drive HR and business area strategy alignment with HR and Leaders.
• Serve as functional HR experts, client advocates, talent advisors, and strategic partners.
• Infuse employee insights into organizational strategies with HR Generalists.
• Devise leadership development and coaching opportunities for business area leadership.
• Identify, assess and develop key talent within the business area.
• Develop, implement and assess succession pipeline strategy planning.
• Act as HR Generalist for the business area leader's direct reports.
