Job summary

Sammons Financial Group Inc. is seeking an HR Business Partner Advisor to serve as a trusted advisor to managers, independently handling employee relations and complex HR matters.

You will partner with business leaders on workforce planning, interpret HR policies and employment laws, support change initiatives, analyze workforce data, coach junior staff, and uphold the company’s values in a collaborative, values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business administration, or a related field Preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience in HR Business Partner or HR generalist roles Preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of HR practices and employment laws
• Strong consulting, judgment, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage sensitive matters independently
• Strong communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills
• Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor others

Responsibilities

• Advise managers and leaders on employee relations, performance, and workforce issues.
• Manage complex HR matters independently and assess risk.
• Partner with business leaders on workforce planning and organizational needs.
• Interpret and apply HR policies and employment laws.
• Support change management and organizational initiatives.
• Analyze workforce data and trends to inform recommendations.
• Collaborate with HR Centers of Expertise to deliver integrated HR solutions.
• Coach and mentor junior team members.
