Job summary

Young Brothers in Hawaii seeks an experienced HR Business Partner to serve as the primary HR advisor for assigned business units. You will partner with leaders to understand workforce needs, deliver HR solutions, and support organizational performance, employee engagement, and strategic objectives.

You will manage employee relations, investigations, recruiting, performance management, workforce planning, onboarding, and talent development, while maintaining confidentiality and exercising sound

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field required.
• Minimum of seven years of exempt-level HR experience.
• Experience as HRBP, Employee Relations, or Senior HR Generalist.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws (federal and Hawaii).
• Experience supporting multi-site operations and/or labor relations is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Acts as primary HR partner for assigned units, advising leaders on HR strategies and workforce planning.
• Manages employee relations investigations from intake to resolution with confidentiality and impartiality.
• Leads recruiting, screening, interview coordination, and onboarding for assigned groups.
• Supports performance management processes, coaching, and development planning.
• Owns HR projects and HR initiatives from planning through execution and evaluation.
• Maintains compliance with policies, laws, and data governance; partners with Legal and Labor Relations as needed.
