Job summary

RogueSearch in Hawaii is seeking an HR leader to own people strategy and HR operations across five locations.

You will partner with senior leadership to influence culture, talent strategy, employee relations and organizational growth. This role offers broad leadership exposure, the chance to drive workforce initiatives, and a stable benefits program across four islands.

The position emphasizes autonomy, compliance, and hands-on guidance in a fast-paced, union and non-union environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
  • 3+ years of progressive HR Generalist/HR Business Partner experience.
  • Strong employee relations and employment law knowledge with investigations and performance matters.
  • Ability to independently support multiple locations and partner with employees and leaders at all levels.
  • Strong consulting, influencing, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, operational environment with multiple priorities.
  • Experience supporting union and non-union employees is highly valued.
  • Strong HRIS and Microsoft Office skills.
  • HR certification and/or advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as trusted HR partner to leadership and employees across multiple locations, supporting union and non-union workforces.
  • Provide hands-on guidance across employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, succession planning, compensation/benefits and development.
  • Lead employee relations matters and workplace investigations, ensuring compliance with policies and laws.
  • Translate business goals into effective people, talent and workforce strategies with leadership.
  • Drive employee engagement, retention, recognition and culture initiatives.
  • Coach leaders on performance management, employee development and organizational effectiveness.
  • Support recruiting, onboarding and talent development initiatives across the business.
  • Analyze HR trends and workforce data to identify opportunities and solutions.
  • Manage HR compliance matters including ADA, FMLA, Workers’ Comp, EEO and OFCCP.
  • Support organizational change, growth and workforce transitions.
  • Maintain a visible presence across operational locations and build strong relationships.
