Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures in Garner, NC seeks an HR Business Partner (HRBP) to serve as a strategic advisor to facility leadership, driving talent development, workforce planning, and policy consistency to strengthen organizational effectiveness.

The role handles employee relations, staffing against budgeted headcount, policy interpretation, and partnering with managers to implement HR initiatives while ensuring EEOC/OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human resources, Business Administration or related field.
• 5+ years of HR generalist experience.
• PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP certification preferred.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems (Workday preferred), Microsoft Office Suite, and data analytics.
• Strong strategic thinking and business acumen with the ability to align HR initiatives to organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Advise facility and regional leadership on HR strategy, organizational design, and workforce optimization.
• Manage employment-related inquiries from employees and managers, providing timely and accurate guidance.
• Handle mid- to high-level employee relations issues and elevate complex matters to senior HR leadership or legal as needed.
• Partner with facility hiring managers to ensure staffing levels are aligned with budgeted headcount and operational needs.
• Interpret and communicate HR policies and procedures to employees and management, ensuring consistent application.
• Initiate investigations and assist in compiling documentation and company response statements for legal matters including EEOC and REDA claims, OSHA reports, and employee hotline complaints.
• Manage unemployment claims, including preparing and submitting documentation, participating in appeals hearings, and coordinating with facility managers.
• Serve as the HR liaison in employee or facility meetings such as disciplinary discussions, manager/employee 1:1s, roundtables, town halls, open enrollment sessions, and safety meetings.
