Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, public administration, or a related field.
• Five (5) years of experience in human resources functions.
• Demonstrated knowledge of relevant state and federal employment laws.
• Preferred: Master’s degree and professional certification (SHRM or HRCI).

Responsibilities

• Advise assigned departments on HR lifecycle requirements and processes.
• Coordinate staffing needs for students, staff, and research positions with analyses and recommendations.
• Process and review student, staff, paid and unpaid research affiliate assignments for compliance.
• Coordinate talent management activities including postings, applicant tracking, onboarding and offboarding.
• Provide guidance on timekeeping, payroll procedures, and leave policies; monitor timesheets.
