Job summary

Mullins Mechanical is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to act as a strategic partner to assigned business units, focusing on workforce planning, engagement, and retention. You will analyze data, support succession planning, and coach leaders to improve performance in a fast-paced industrial setting.

The role requires on-site work at the Dallas, Texas office, travel up to 30% to jobsites, and collaboration with leaders to align hiring strategies with growth plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
• 5–8 years HR experience, including HRBP or HR Generalist roles.
• Experience supporting construction, manufacturing, industrial, or operations-heavy environments preferred.
• Strategic business partner with hands-on HR support when needed.
• Strong business acumen with data-driven decision making.
• Proficiency in Excel and HRIS; Workday preferred; familiarity with ADP, Domo or similar.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic HRBP to assigned business units, understanding priorities and growth plans.
• Partner with leaders to develop people strategies for workforce stability, performance, and engagement.
• Analyze workforce data and feedback to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Plan workforce and organizational structure to support current operations and growth.
• Facilitate succession planning and talent reviews; identify gaps and development needs.
• Coach managers to strengthen leadership, communication, and team performance.
• Advise on employee conduct, performance, and actions, coordinating with legal as needed.
• Collaborate with HR and other functions to provide coordinated support; present workforce reports.
