Job summary

Avis Budget Group in the San Francisco Bay Area seeks an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to serve as an internal partner for field operations (~450 employees) and provide strategic HR support across Northern California locations.

You will guide talent management, leadership development, performance processes, and workforce planning while ensuring compliance with policies and laws. The role includes a company vehicle and strong benefits package to support growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of generalist/HR leadership experience.
• Bachelor's Degree; PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
• Labor Relations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support union, non-union, management and staff in assigned departments and field locations, ensuring HR compliance.
• Define talent management needs and design HR programs (organizational design, workforce planning, talent review, succession planning, talent acquisition, compensation).
• Facilitate leadership development and key talent retention efforts (performance management, coaching, corrective actions, recognition).
