Job summary

Best Buy's Human Resources Operations Senior Specialist role focuses on leading and planning small, recurring HR projects while collaborating with HRBPs and business teams. You will influence decision-making, manage risks, and drive consistent employee experiences across HR systems.

This hybrid role requires on-site work Monday through Thursday at the Richfield, Minnesota corporate office, with the option to work virtually from Friday.

Qualifications

• 2 years of functional HR experience.
• 2 years of experience with multiple priorities and detailed outcomes.
• 2 years of experience with HR systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Ability to identify risks, trends and opportunities for improved efficiency and/or quality.
• Ability to influence without authority.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguous situations.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional HR implementation plans for organizational changes and recurring processes.
• Ensure timely delivery of objectives within time, scope, quality and budget.
• Leverage HR COEs to drive solutions and business requirements.
• Support HR business partners, finance and cross-functional partners with HR counsel.
• Conduct data analysis and summarize information to inform decisions.
• Assist HR planning with communications rhythms and planning meetings.
• Build and maintain relationships with HR Leadership and SMEs for project success.
• Understand HRBP and HR COE models and improve processes across HR functions.
• Manage and triage incoming emails, routing inquiries to the right HR team.
