Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Human Resources Operations Sr. Specialist to lead and plan small and recurring projects within the HR Operations and Planning team.

You’ll collaborate with HRBPs and business partners to deliver a consistent employee experience across initiatives at the corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota. This role requires subject matter expertise, cross-functional collaboration, risk identification, and the ability to influence leaders in decision making while aligning with HR

Qualifications

• 2 years of functional HR experience.
• 2 years of managing multiple priorities and detailed outcomes.
• 2 years of experience with HR systems (Workday, PeopleSoft, Oracle, UKG, BambooHR).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Ability to identify risks, trends and opportunities for improved efficiency and/or quality.
• Ability to influence without authority.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguous situations.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional HR implementation plans for organizational changes and recurring processes within your area.
• Ensure timely delivery of business objectives, maintaining scope, time and budget.
• Leverage HR COE expertise to drive solutions and business requirements.
• Provide HR advice and counsel to HRBPs, finance, and cross-functional partners.
• Conduct data analysis and summarize information to inform decisions.
• Support HR Planning with communication rhythms and planning meetings.
• Build strong relationships with HR Leadership and subject matter experts.
• Promote the HRBP/COE model and improve processes across HR.
