Job summary

UFCW & Employers Trust, LLC is seeking a Human Resources Manager to oversee HR activities, employee and union relations, performance reviews, recruitment, and benefits administration. The role emphasizes policy compliance, training, and collaboration with management across Concord, CA and Roseville travel.

Strong leadership, investigative, and HR expertise are essential. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in HR, a BA, and HR certification preferred, with readiness to navigate multi-employer plans

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 5 years of HR experience.
• Experience advising management on employee relations, writing discipline, and conducting investigations.
• Experience in Labor Relations, Talent Acquisition, Leave of Absence & Accommodations is preferred.
• Certification in Human Resources (e.g., SPHR or SHRM-SCP) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage HR payroll administrator and office service coordinator; provide guidance and coaching.
• Hold bi-weekly 1:1 meetings with staff; mentor growth and development.
• Advise management on employee relations, recruitment, performance, and discipline; escalate complex issues.
• Oversee exit interviews and retention strategies; ensure policy compliance and training.
• Administer policies, CBAs, and federal/state laws; ensure timely HR procedures.
