Job summary

NYK Group Americas Inc. in Secaucus, NJ seeks a Human Resources Director to lead the U.S. HR function, align people priorities with business goals, and drive global HR initiatives across the Americas.

This senior role oversees compensation, benefits, talent planning, employee relations, and HR operations, partnering with Legal, Finance, and the Tokyo headquarters to support transformation and ensure compliant, high-performing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field; 10+ years of progressive HR experience with broad responsibility across multiple HR disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience advising senior leaders and resolving complex, sensitive workforce matters.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. employment practices, HR operations, compensation and benefits, talent management, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR operations, payroll, benefits, HRIS, employee services, workforce administration, and annual HR programs.
• Establish policies, controls, and service standards for compliant HR practices.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, Payroll, global HQ, and external advisors on employment compliance, audits, investigations, reporting, and risk management.
