Job summary

BrandSafway is seeking an HR Manager for Specialty Services to act as a strategic HR partner to operational leaders, managing performance, development, succession, and workforce planning. You will handle employee relations, investigations, and day-to-day HR activities across multiple locations.

The role requires a proactive HR professional with a strong knowledge of employment laws and business acumen, capable of balancing strategic and transactional duties onsite and in the field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or a related field.
• Progressive HR experience with strong exposure to HR business partnering, employee relations, performance management, and organizational effectiveness.
• Experience partnering with operational leaders and providing HR guidance at management or senior leadership level.
• Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, employee relations, and performance management.
• Experience with succession planning, workforce planning, or organizational design preferred.
• Strong business acumen to translate operational priorities into HR solutions.
• Excellent judgment, problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• HR certification such as SHRM‑CP/SCP, PHR, or SPHR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted HR business partner to Specialty Services leadership, providing guidance across a broad range of HR matters.
• Partner with leaders on performance management, employee development, succession planning, and workforce planning.
• Advise on employee relations, corrective action, investigations, and resolution of workplace issues.
• Support organizational structure and design initiatives to align teams with business needs.
• Build relationships with leaders and employees across multiple locations and understand workforce challenges.
• Provide practical HR guidance balancing business objectives, policies, and employment law.
• Identify HR and operational challenges and manage issues through resolution.
• Support performance review processes and drive consistent performance management practices.
• Utilize HR systems and data to improve processes and decision-making.
• Collaborate with HR colleagues to ensure consistent HR practices across the organization.
• Maintain a hands-on approach including investigations and day-to-day HR needs.
• Travel to company locations and job sites as needed.
