Job summary

Nu‑Tek BioSciences is seeking a dynamic Human Resources Manager to lead HR responsibilities at our Minnetonka, MN corporate office. The role includes employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, payroll, and benefits administration within a manufacturing environment.

You will report to the CFO and collaborate with leadership to drive safety, quality, productivity, and retention. This role involves 25% non-HR responsibilities and occasional plant travel in Minnesota.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on HR experience with a Minnesota employer.
• Manufacturing industry experience is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree and HR certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Minnesota labor laws and compliance.
• Experience with an HCM system; ADP Workforce Now preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; entrepreneurial mindset.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to the Austin, MN plant.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day HR operations including employee relations and performance management.
• Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Manage compensation and benefits in coordination with leadership.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Support HR reporting, workforce planning, and data integrity.
• Partner with plant leadership on safety, quality, productivity, retention.
• Support payroll processing and leave programs.
• Contribute to engagement efforts and HR projects.
