Pacific Staffing is recruiting an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR across a Sacramento‑based organization known for strong values and a commitment to a positive employee experience. The role focuses on employee relations, compliance, recruitment, training, and organizational development in a multi-site environment.

The HR Manager serves as a strategic partner, aligning business objectives with employee needs and management priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR management experience, including multi-site HR operations.
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on employee relations, performance management, disciplinary actions, investigations, conflict resolution, and employment separations.
• Partner with site managers and recruitment teams to develop staffing strategies, source candidates, and participate in interviews; attend recruiting events and job fairs to build applicant interest.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies across all sites; conduct audits and implement corrective actions.
• Promote employee engagement and foster open communication across all locations.
• Identify training needs and collaborate with management and Safety/Compliance teams to design and deliver training programs; conduct sessions as needed.
• Develop and maintain accurate job descriptions aligned with organizational structure and compensation frameworks.
• Oversee payroll processing to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with tax regulations and company policies.
• Support benefits administration, including enrollment, claims resolution, and employee communication.
• Manage employee leaves of absence (FMLA, disability, personal leave) and ensure legal compliance and effective communication throughout the process.
• Assist with workers’ compensation reporting, claim coordination, and communication with insurance providers and medical professionals.
• Provide leadership and oversight to HR Generalists and support additional HR roles as the organization grows.
