Job summary

The Jewish Community Council of Greater Coney Island is seeking a Human Resources Manager to enhance strategic and hands-on HR support across programs. The role covers recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR operations.

Working closely with leadership, the HR Manager fosters a collaborative and effective workplace while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This position offers annual salary ranging from $95,000 to $110,000, a competitive benefits package, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience in a nonprofit setting preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead equity and inclusion practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure employee compliance with agency policies and procedures.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and conflict resolution.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and retention strategies.
