Job summary

Premier Pan, operating Premier Packaging facilities, seeks an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function for the manufacturing plant and nearby warehouse. You will oversee employee relations, training, compensation & benefits, recruitment, and payroll/HRIS for ~175 employees, reporting to the VP of HR and a shareholder.

You will partner with facility operations to align HR policies, implement corporate initiatives, and drive culture change while maintaining compliance with state

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources.
• 5 years HR onsite in manufacturing, partnering with leaders across sites.
• Experience in a family business is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal employment law and policy implications.
• Experience in building culture and organizational transformation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS software (Paycom preferred).
• Ability to investigate conflicts and resolve issues using coaching and tools.
• Excellent written and oral communication, negotiation and collaboration.
• Time management, project planning, and organizational skills.
• Performs other HR duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Premier Packaging HR function for manufacturing plant and nearby warehouse.
• Manage employee relations, communication, training, and development.
• Administer compensation & benefits, recruitment, staff planning, and performance management.
• Oversee workers' compensation, payroll/HRIS, and related HR activities.
• Advise management and ensure adherence to HR policies; support operations.
• Implement corporate HR initiatives and drive culture change initiatives.
