Job summary

Ironwear, a safety PPE provider with its West Palm Beach headquarters, seeks an experienced HR Manager to lead HR operations across Florida and Texas. You will own full-cycle recruiting, payroll, benefits and employee relations, reporting directly to the President/CEO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience as HR Manager or similar responsibility for human resources.
• Proven record of full-cycle recruiting for a mix of roles (warehouse, production, sales, office).
• Experience finding and hiring candidates through direct outreach.
• Practical experience with employee relations, multi-state payroll processing and benefits administration.
• Knowledge of HR best practices and federal employment law; familiarity with Florida and Texas employment laws.
• Ability to manage day-to-day HR work independently and advise managers.
• Discretion with confidential employee information and strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong listening and communication skills; attention to detail and proficiency with spreadsheets and HR systems.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for every role by defining roles, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers and onboarding.
• Actively source candidates through direct outreach, referrals and local networks to build pipelines.
• Write clear job postings and prepare managers for structured interviews; close offers with selected candidates.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding; maintain accurate employee records and communications.
• Handle employee relations issues with fairness and discretion; advise managers accordingly.
• Process payroll for multi-state employees and resolve pay-related questions.
• Administer employee benefits and coordinate with providers.
• Maintain HR records, time-off administration and confidential HR documentation.
• Support performance reviews, coaching and employee development; coordinate training.
• Keep HR policies current and compliant with federal and state laws; report metrics to leadership.
