Socket.dev is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to partner with leadership across the organization on employee relations, performance management, organizational development, and strategic HR initiatives.

This role serves as a trusted HR business partner to managers and location leadership, advising on investigations, policy interpretation, and workforce development while leading key HR projects and succession planning.

Qualifications

• Experience partnering with leadership on employee relations and performance management.
• Ability to analyze HR metrics and drive data-driven improvements.
• Experience leading HR projects and training initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary HR resource for department heads on employee relations, policy interpretation and performance-related matters.
• Conduct investigations, document findings, and advise on resolutions with HR leadership.
• Guide managers through performance improvement plans and terminations with proper documentation.
• Track employee relations trends and propose proactive solutions.
• Build strategic partnerships with location leadership to support staffing, engagement and culture.
• Lead or support organizational restructuring, workforce planning, and retention initiatives.
• Analyze turnover and retention trends; support talent reviews and succession planning.
• Collaborate with Recruiting to address hiring and retention challenges.
• Develop SOPs, manager guides, and HR templates; support audits and compliance.
• Design and deliver manager training on coaching, feedback, and leadership skills.
