Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or HR; SHRM certification a plus.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and develop HR policies and procedures with management and legal counsel.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, OSHA, EEOC, safety and wage-hour rules.
• Plan, staff, recruit, and coordinate training and education opportunities.
• Investigate and manage workers' compensation claims and unemployment processes.
• Support employee performance evaluations and disciplinary actions with documentation.
• Develop and manage benefit programs with senior management.
• Advise on wage and salary programs and participate in local wage surveys.
