Job summary

PACCAR is seeking an Human Resources Manager to join its HR team in the United States. The role partners with ITD leadership to align HR policies with business goals and regulatory requirements, delivering results across talent management, engagement, compensation, retention, training, and organizational effectiveness.

The successful candidate will lead HR initiatives, oversee policy implementation, manage budgets, and mentor the HR staff while collaborating with senior management on succession

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years of related HR experience.
• Experience leading, coaching and mentoring business leaders on HR topics.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills and strong presentation abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Understand business goals and recommend HR approaches, policies, and procedures to achieve and continuously improve business and people objectives.
• Partner with ITD leadership to design workforce plans and talent strategies to support business goals.
• Implement and enforce company-wide HR policies while ensuring compliance with local state and federal labor laws and internal audit standards.
• Oversee competitive market analysis and provide recommendations with respect to salary offers, promotions, lateral transfers and other compensation decisions.
• Establish job families and career paths within each organizational unit within ITD.
• Resolve employee grievances, manage conflict resolution, and cultivate a positive workforce environment.
• Manage the HR department’s budget, train and direct HR staff, and track operational metrics.
• Provide guidance to managers on a variety of HR topics including employment law, leave administration, performance management.
