Job summary

PACCAR is seeking a Commodity Manager for HR/Professional Services in Bellevue, WA. You will partner with internal stakeholders to drive category management, sourcing strategies, and supplier performance, negotiating MSAs, SOWs, and SLAs, while controlling cost and risk.

The role requires strong negotiation, project management, and data-driven decision-making, with collaboration across Legal, Finance, IT, and HR to ensure governance and policy alignment.

Qualifications

• 5 years professional work experience including minimum of 3 years in Purchasing or large service contract negotiations.
• Strong negotiation skills balancing cost, quality, risk, and business needs.
• Flexible and proactive with ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Demonstrated medium to large scale Project Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to develop category management, sourcing, and supplier strategies.
• Identify, assess, and select HR Professional Services suppliers via RFQs, RFPs, and market tests.
• Lead complex negotiations, MSAs, SOWs, SLAs, and contract terms while minimizing risk.
• Establish and maintain supplier relationships via SRM, segmentation, and performance reviews.
• Drive supplier performance via KPIs, SLAs, scorecards, and continuous improvement.
