Job summary

Hexcel Corporation seeks a Senior HR Manager for Stamford, CT, in a hybrid setup (3 days in office, 2 days remote). The role partners with Legal, Finance and HR, advising leadership and delivering integrated people strategies to boost capability and engagement.

The manager will lead employee relations, workforce planning, succession, and talent development, translating business priorities into practical HR solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration or related field.
• Minimum eight years of HR experience, including at least five years in an HR leadership or management role.
• Experience as a strategic HR business partner to corporate functions and leading HR delivery for a site.
• Working knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws; handling workplace investigations.
• Ability to advise senior leaders and translate priorities into practical people strategies.
• Experience leading organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, talent management and change initiatives.
• Proven leadership, coaching and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Workday experience preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Act as the senior HR partner to Legal, Finance and HR leaders, shaping and executing people strategies.
• Serve as the HR Manager for the Stamford site, guiding employee relations and workforce planning.
• Advise senior leaders on complex org matters, including design and change management.
• Lead resolution of complex employee relations issues and investigations.
• Drive integrated talent strategies for leadership assessment, succession, and retention.
• Use workforce data to identify risks and measure HR program effectiveness.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to anticipate workforce needs and manage onboarding.
• Collaborate with Total Rewards on compensation and benefits decisions.
• Coach leaders to strengthen effectiveness and navigate organizational change.
• Collaborate with Corporate HR to implement enterprise HR programs.
