Dairy Farmers of America in Sharpsville, PA is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead recruitment, onboarding, compensation, benefits, payroll, and employee relations at the location.

You will partner with HQ HR, drive engagement, ensure compliance, and manage a small team, serving as the primary resource for leadership on HR practices. This role emphasizes confidentiality and organizational improvement.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• 5 to 8 years of human resources experience with leadership attributes, supervisor experience preferred
• Experience with HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Experience in a union environment may be required or preferred for supported location(s)
• Certification and/or License - HR certifications preferred (e.g., PHR/SPHR, SHRM, HRCI)

Responsabilités

• Lead recruitment efforts for hourly, professional, and/or management positions in assigned location.
• Guide HR team in triaging critical staffing shortages as needed
• Partner with outside agencies to conduct recruitment events and share opportunities on social media
• Lead onboarding of new employees and develop comprehensive onboarding plan
• Facilitate talent management initiatives to drive engagement and retention
• Provide leadership in execution of HR processes and policies
• Communicate HR practices and assist leaders with compensation tasks and actions
• Partner with HR team at business unit and HQ
• Develop recommendations for HR process improvement
• Document HR practices and maintain consistency
• Provide employee relations support and resolve concerns
• Oversee payroll processing and ensure on-schedule execution
• Coordinate employee wellness and engagement activities
• Provide people analytics such as turnover and recruiting reports
• Process personnel changes and updates
• Advise leaders on compensation and job classification
• Maintain personnel files
• Manage Workers' Compensation claims and safety initiatives
• Maintain confidentiality of organizational changes
• Manage exempt/non-exempt direct reports and related duties
• Other duties as required
