Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking an HR leader to manage recruiting, onboarding, payroll, and engagement at our Sharpsville, PA location. You will advise leaders on complex employee relations, develop HR processes, and ensure compliance.

You will partner with Centers of Expertise, oversee a small HR team, and deliver analytics and reporting to inform people decisions. English proficiency required. This role anchors HR practices across the site.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5–8 years of HR experience with leadership attributes or supervisory experience; 1+ year of manager experience preferred.
• Experience with HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in a union environment may be required or preferred for supported location(s).
• Certification and/or License – HR certifications preferred (e.g., PHR/SPHR, SHRM, HRCI).

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment for hourly, professional, and/or management positions in the assigned location.
• Partner with managers to update job descriptions and guide the interview and selection process.
• Coordinate onboarding to ensure proper orientation and access to resources.
• Facilitate talent management initiatives to drive engagement and retention.
• Provide leadership in the execution of HR processes, practices, and policies.
• Communicate HR practices to leaders and support performance and compensation activities.
• Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely execution of payroll tasks.
• Develop HR process improvements and maintain confidential personnel files.
• Manage exempt and non-exempt direct reports and provide coaching and development.
